What’s the most important thing?

“As leaders, our time should be spent only on the tasks that demand our greatest skills and deliver the highest value outcomes.”

I’m away this week on a much-needed mini break which has me focused on the importance of prioritising.

As leaders, our time should be spent only on the tasks that demand our greatest skills and deliver the highest value outcomes.

It’s not always so easy to achieve this and it is tempting to slip into the comfort zone of low value tasks. But when time is limited, or goals are high, it’s especially vital to do this. That’s also the time to delegate – so your to do list doesn’t pile up as a blockage to team progress.

Wishing you a great week ahead – and power to your prioritisation skills!
